I grew up in Seoul, South Korea, watching my father, Dae-Seob Kim, build a legacy rooted in innovation and care. In 1996, he founded Palmpring and created Korea’s first all-natural mattress made without metal springs. His vision redefined sleep by combining traditional craftsmanship with organic, sustainable materials. Over the years, Palmpring has earned the trust of thousands of customers by meeting rigorous standards for safety, comfort, and durability—and his mission continues to guide everything we do today.

In 2010, after the birth of my second daughter, my family and I made the bold move to Los Angeles to bring Palmpring’s philosophy of organic sleep to North America. It wasn’t easy, but it felt like a calling—to make organic living more accessible to more families.

Now, more than 15 years later, Palmpring has grown into a trusted name in organic bedding. We’re proud to be part of the Los Angeles community and to operate our own local LA factory, where we manufacture our products with care and accountability.
