Growing up in Seoul, South Korea, I had the privilege of witnessing my father, Dae-Seob Kim, build a legacy rooted in innovation and care. In 1996, he founded Palmpring, creating the country’s first all-natural mattress free of metal springs. His vision redefined sleep by combining traditional craftsmanship with sustainable, organic materials. Over the years, Palmpring has earned the trust of thousands of customers by passing rigorous tests for safety, comfort, and durability. Today, his mission continues to inspire everything we do.

In 2010, after the birth of my second daughter, my family and I made the bold decision to move to Los Angeles. This move allowed us to bring Palmpring’s philosophy of “organic sleep” to North America. It was a challenge and an opportunity—but also a calling to make organic living accessible to more people.

Now, more than 15 years later, Palmpring has become a trusted name in organic bedding. We’ve grown to become a part of the vibrant Los Angeles community, and we’re proud to have our own local factory in LA where we manufacture our products.
